What is the difference between Animation/Illustration and CAD/Solid model types?
The animation/Illustration models are designed to run in 3D animation programs such as Maya or Cinema 4D while the CAD/Solid data sets are designed to work with engineering software such as SolidWorks and Pro E.
How anatomically accurate and detailed is the skeleton model data, and what resources did we use to build the models?
Zygote uses real CT scans to create all CAAD models. Specifically Zygote uses a 50% male and female, verified by DOD.
If we license the Zygote solid 3D CAD skeleton models can we modify or customize them?
Absolutely! We can work out the license to fit the needs of your specific project.
If I can't afford the complete skeleton can I get individual bones?
Absolutely! We can customize the order to work with any project, simulation, or test.

Because of the intense organic geometric properties of human skeletons and anatomy, developing accurate bone models is an extreme challenge. Polygonal anatomy products available on the market do not perform within CAD software. For years, Zygote has been dedicated to providing solid medical modeling data to biomedical engineers within their native CAD software to design products, conduct ground-breaking research and create beautiful visuals.
